what to expect

  • The retreat is for you if...

    - You want the chance to connect with your daughter 1:1 in a beautiful location.

    - You want to learn some strategies from registered psychologists to help support your daughter with emotional regulation, self-compassion and development in the tween/teen years.

    - You want to have some light-hearted fun, laughter and time to relax together doing activities such as yoga, zumba, spa treatments & nature walks.

    - You want to eat delicious chef-prepared meals all weekend and stay in luxury accommodation.

    - You want to connect and meet other mums and daughters in a safe, relaxed environment!

  • Retreat is not for you if ...

    - You want someone to individually address your daughter’s mental health concerns. Whilst we talk about emotional regulation, relationships and communication skills, this is done in a group setting.

    - You want individual therapy. Whilst we are registered psychologists, and participation in one of our retreats may compliment therapy, we are not a clinical service. Our retreats are aimed at providing an opportunity for you and your daughter to reconnect, create memories and learn preventative, evidence-based strategies to support wellbeing.

    - You don’t enjoy new experiences, being in nature (e.g. the beach), having fun via movement, and semi-structured schedules!
