Our Story

Working together as Psychologists in schools, Dr. Olivia Chatt and Tania Henry were inspired to create Cocoon Wellness Retreats, as they could see the strain and disconnect that often occurred within families. They reflected that the majority of families were looking to find ‘a balance’, seeking true, authentic connection, amidst the ever competing demands of day-to-day life, work, school, extra-curricular activities, social calendars, and domestic duties.

This experience and their own reality as working mums, started a conversation about how great it would be to bring families together to talk, grow and develop the skills required to establish boundaries and routines to protect the most important thing - family connection.

Having both worked as psychologists in girls’ schools, Olivia and Tania, are experienced and understand the key issues and aspects of becoming a teenager - the exciting and the challenging. They are passionate about educating families on developing skills of resilience, emotional regulation and enhancing the mother-daughter relationship.
